Just because we are not able to host our annual fundraising event physically doesn’t mean we are not able to raise funds for our causes virtually. K2K are very grateful to the following industry professionals who have shared their time and expertise with us by hosting our exclusive Zoom sessions. K2K families, friends, and supporters have enjoyed these sessions immensely, and made generous donations towards our causes.

Q & A with Jackie Warden

March 20, 2021 @ 7:30 pm 9:00 pm

Toronto’s ShowBizThis is for you if:

  • Your child is interested in the entertainment industry, but you don’t know where to start
  • You are concerned about being “scammed”
  • You would like to land an agent, and to know what agents are looking for
  • You would like to have suggestions on training, headshots, self tapes, etc
  • You would like to know the cost involved in getting started

Toronto’s ShowBiz is an informative session with Talent Agent Jackie Warden, where emerging young actors and their families can be accurately informed about entering the entertainment industry safely.

Who is Jackie Warden?

Jackie Warden is the Head of Ritter Talent Agency’s Children & Youth division. Ritter Talent Agency (RTA) is a principal agency in Toronto, with a full roster of talent ranging in age from infants to 80+. RTA represents a diverse group of both Union and Non-Union actors who are working in all areas of the industry (Television, Film, Commercials, Theater and Print).

Jackie has 15 years of acting experience, and spent many of her acting years being involved with member training and education at ACTRA Toronto, as well as advocating for the rights of child performers. She has a background in psychology, and has been managing the careers of her two children for the last decade.

Jackie has a genuine way of connecting with kids and parents alike, both through acting, and through her volunteer work as a Girl Guide leader and sporting coach. Her goals as an agent are to educate parents, protect the children on her roster, all while having fun and working hard to kick-start their careers.
