In its 53rd year, “The Wish” program has become one of the largest distributors of toys to children in need in the Greater Toronto Area. The program also provides financial assistance to hundreds of agencies, ensuring that hundreds of thousands of children across the GTA enjoy a holiday experience. With the help of the public, the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish in conjunction with Toronto Social Services assisted hundreds of thousands of people in need through toy and financial support.

Kids T.O. Kids joined The Wish program for the first time this year. Our members, individually, ran a Toy Drive and donated new, unwrapped toys to the program. The kids really enjoyed doing this, as you can see from the posts on our Instagram page CP24 must have seen this too, as they invited our members for a Live interview at the CP24 studio. Kids T.O. Kids got to speak to the wider audience of CP24, and let them know what Kids T.O. Kids is about.

Twenty-five older members of the group will also be volunteering their time to help unload, sort, and pack the toys at the CHUM warehouse on December 14th. It’s going to be a very fulfilling experience for all.

Toy donations, including gift cards for older recipients, are greatly appreciated. Our members are happy to pick up your donations from anywhere in the GTA. Please let us know if you require a pick up. Additionally, we also have a collection box at Starbucks at Jane and St. Clair Ave W. in Toronto.
